SorbiCell - technology for in situ Solid Phase Extraction.
SorbiCell is a porous cratridge that "filters" solutes from water passing the SorbiCell. The cartridge also contains a environmentally neutral tracer salt that dissolves proportionally as water transits the cartridge thus accurately detects theh volume of passing water. The method enables measuring the average concentration over an extended time scale. A range of mountings, SorbiSystems, ensure SorbiCell's can be used for measuring groundwater, lakes and streams, drain and sewage pipes and pressurized pipes. The chemical analysis are made at commercial laboratories using standard GC/MS that fulfils requirements from authorities. SorbiCell's are especially suitable for measuring nitrate and phosphorous, pesticides, volatile organic compounds, oil and tarr and heavy metals.
SorbiSystems - reusable mountings for any application. Sorbisense supply a range of mountings, tailored for each individual assignment.
GWS (Ground Water Sampler): For sampling below groundwater level e.g. in wells or ponds. The GWS enables measurements for a specific time period (up to 6 months) and a specific volume of water.
GWS Flex: For sampling narrow wells or for difficult conditions.
InStream: For sampling in streaming water.
Socket: For sampling from drain- and sewage pipes.
Also available in a version for sampling drains submerged under water table.
Pipe: For sampling from pressurized pipes and tubes.
